The St. Louis arch was great - what a view from the top. We went during the 4th of July holiday and they had so much going on around the arch (I didn't ralize until this trip that it is actually a national parks service area). The city had a big "party" going on all around the arch with rides, games, a maze, food booths, it was so hot and the fire dept. had a couple of trucks out with the water pouring out for the kids to run under and get cooled off, also there were FREE concerts (we got to see Aretha Franklin and she was awesome, also beach boys and salt N Peppa).
