Best-heated blanket made hands-down.  My last Sears Sunbeam Electric Blanket lasted over 20 years and there's no real secret in making it last so long.

“JUNK!”

I bought a new one after my last one only heated for a couple of months.  The new one lasted a couple of weeks!  The blanket worked great the first couple of times they were turned on and then gradually quit heating.I will not buy another Sunbeam blanket but it seems to be the only one that dept. stores...

After several years of excellent service I had to replace my old Sunbeam Heated Blanket with a new one. The Sunbeam Imperial Nights model has an all-electronic control with a Preheating feature. It quickly heats the bed and then maintains the chosen temperature for an assured night of warm comfort. The blanket is lightweight and allows unhindered movement without losing heat. It comes in a variety of appealing colors.

This is the best automatic heated blanket I've ever had. Sears maintains a complete inventory to keep it readily available and sells it at a very good price. I would not hesitate...

“This Sunbeam blanket is a must have for the wintery chill.”

It is very soft and heats up very quickly. The controls are user friendly and has an automatic shut off timer after 12 hours. It is essential for the cold nights and even days. Its like having a small fireplace in your room. It easily rolls up and can be stored in a closet or under the bed. it's perfect for dorms and rv's. The twin size comes with two remotes which is convenient for two people.

“The Sunbeam electric blanket is a great asset to the bedroom”

“The Sunbeam Imperial Nights Heated Blanket keeps you very cozy.”

I recenlty purchased the Sunbeam Imperial Nights Heated Blanket and am very pleased with the blanket. The dual controls are an added plus, but the blanket itself works great. The preheating feature does not warm up like you expect, but once you are under the blanket the heat comes soon after. The blanket material itself is very soft and light weight. If you don't like heavy covers, this blanket is for you.

“Great buy!”

We converted our bonus room into a bedroom for our oldest daughter when our 3rd child was born. The temperature in that room isn't consistant and she's usually a "cold natured" person. It was costing us a small fortune to heat the room with an electric heater. These blankets were on sale and I decided to give it a try. She is incredibly happy with it! It keeps her toasty warm at night! And if she's happy, I'm doubly happy - that she's warm AND that I can save some money on the power bill! “Great electric blanket! Recommend highly!”

Great electric blanket!  We really like the seperate bedside temperature settings.  I keep my side of the blanket on a warmer temperature than my husband does.  Both of us are comfortable and we feel the warmth from this blanket helps both of us with our arthritis.  Another nice feature this blanket has is it shuts off automatically after 10 hours of use. This is wonderful for forgetful minds like ours!

“MESSIEST ONE EVER!!!”

I have low body temperature and HAVE to have an electric blanket or a warm heated throw to sleep with for most of the year. I have bought Sunbeam blankets in the past and NEVER have I had this kind of problem. I was used to them wearing out after 2 years and having to buy new ones...but this one!!! RIDICULOUS!!! One side flashes "E2" or "E3" all the time, so it doesn't even work!!! The other side does work and heats up fast. However, it makes the biggest mess you can think of. “Sunbeam Elite Heated Blanket”

This blanket is fast heating, warm all over, soft, covers our king sized bed adequately. The dual controls are perfect for us as our body temperatures differ. The on-line purchase went ok, and the delivery by UPS was fast. We would recommend this beautiful blanket to anyone in any climate. The sale price was in line with other department stores. A great bargain for a very nice product, for two Senior Citizens.

“Terrible Choice”

This blanket didn't work. My husband wanted a blanket for years so I found one on sale 50% off priced at 50.$ Turned on the blanket waiting to be bathed in heat. Nothing. Fancy controller had on/off preheat and up/down with digial readout. We took this blanket back immediately and have found other poor reviews on this product. Seems to be a hit or miss. But we will not waste our time or money on another Sunbeam product. The sunbeams' rays have gone out in our life. My husband has resorted to letting the dog up on the couch to keep our feet warm.

“It doesn't work -used for few months only”

I bought the full size Sunbeam Electirc blanket in Nov 2007 cos it's half the original price. It works perfect throughout the last winter. I then sent it to the professional for washing as I worried I might damage it if I did the washing myself. Unfortunate that when I tried to use it this week as weather getting cold, it did not work .. not even warm at all. I've been spending $25 for the laundry but so disappointed and upset that it was not working. “Electric blanket”

This really a comfy blanket. We keep it in our RV so have only used it one weekend, but it worked great! Can't tell you much about longevity.
