The primary reason for selecting this product is that it is proudly 'MADE IN USA"!!!

This is an attractive storage box with loads of room. Both the neutral color and the overall design are pleasing to any outdoor (or indoor) decor.  It seems to be strong and sturdy.  Although we've had no rain since...

Got wheels that don't turn

The box is easy to put together. BUT! the wheels are USELESS. After assembly, they don't roll, but the box is light enough to drag which you have to do to move it from place to place. Because of this, this isn't worth half the going price. Sears needs to have the manufacturer retrofit the wheel with... read full review »

I purchased several of these for work. We used them in a different manner than most people, we store ink buckets in them. These as used in a industrial work place which has to be durable and these have done well.

Very easy to put together. I let my 8 year old grandson do all but lid but I think he might have put it on also. The trick is to read the instructions then do as they tell you to do. I liked this one so much I got a 50 gal for pool supplies and plan to get the 5'x5' building. Enjoy !!!

We purchased this in December 2009 to use as outdoor storage for animal feed. It holds heavy bags of feed and gets 2x daily usage. It is holding up well and is not an eye sore. We are pleased with this purchase and will probably purchase another for actually holding out hot tub supplies. :)

Lid assembly Secrets

Yes, we just bought the Suncast Storage box and it came with NO instructions and my husband was so frustrated he couldn't get the lid hinges to snap into place so asked me to help and after blaming me that I couldn't do it either, I went to my computer and found this site and spraying Pam on the hinges was SO necessary. BUT, maybe others can see how to do it right away, but it took a few seconds for me to see to lay the lid down in the closed position being sure the hinge part with the holes were lined up over the little plastic pegs. then press down on that back portion over the hinges and they... read full review »

We have a large number of pool toys (for the grandkids).  Our problem was "where" to store them.  Bought the Suncast 73 gal. Outdoor Storage Box and our problem was solved.  Easily accessible - the grandkids can retrieve the toys (but, they know that Grandmom will always put them up for them) - but, it is also easy for me!

This item is a definite must - even if you don't have a swimming pool, and are looking for a place to store the gardening supplies.

Great value

This box is a great value for the money, and very easy to assemble, except the lid hinges go on very hard. I wish I had read the reviews about spraying Pam in the hinge before snapping into place. I ended up cracking the lid, but it was nearly invisible and did not detract from use. I will say it is not very tightly sealed, so don't expect contents to stay completely dry. Snow blows into mine in the winter, not sure if I would have the same issue with rain or not. I is much sturdier after assembled than other products I have purchased then later thrown away. I am sure this one will be around... read full review »

Suncast's 73 gallon storage box holds more tools and flower pots than I thought it could hold. I was able to also put my fertilizer spreader in as well. It was easy to put together. All I needed was level ground and it pressed together in a snap. It made my storage needs a thing of the past.

Great for the price!

After 10 minutes of trying to follow the directions (they are awful), I put it together using common sense and it was super easy. The box size is perfect for our deck, looks nice, and has kept everything in it dry (we had rain almost every day in July!!). It's light and moves easily. Get it on sale, though...

4 stars

My son and I just put this together, it was simple to piece together. The lid was hard, so I sprayed some Pam on the hinges and they popped easily into place with no problem.

After reading the reviews I put it together and found a place on my deck for it. It looks as good or better than the Rubbermade brand stuff we already had. I might go back and get one more to put my pool chems in. I am very happy with it, don't pass this one up!
