I went back and forth on whether to use wood or not.  I am very pleased with this.  It is easy to put up, but don't snap anything in place unless you know you are ready.  My neighbor saw me putting it up, so he stopped over and it took 45 minutes with the two of us.  One person can do it until it...

Good but not great

If you're looking for a big plastic box this is the shed for you. In all fairness, this shed is just the right size for our back yard, it stores a decent amount of stuff and doesn't leak. Just don't look to organize that stuff, as no one apparently sells any shelves or brackets that work with the "Built-in... read full review »

suncast shed

This shed was just what I needed and it only took 45 minutes to put up by 2 guys. It has rained for 2 days since put up and it is dry inside. The only thing for me it is higher then what I needed for my mowers and garden tools. Other then that it should last for a long time and is seems to be maintenance free.

Great shed for small areas

I bought this shed for my camp in NH. I am limited in space so this shed was the perfect fit for the back corner of my deck. The fact that it is lightweight (much lighter than wood anyway) was also good. It was a breeze to install this shed even in a light drizzle that NH has been stuck with all Spring. My neighbor and I put it up in less than 1 hour and, since it was raining, I had to keep stowing the instructions away to keep dry. If you follow the instructions and lay out the parts ahead of time - it is a snap. That reminds me - don't "snap" anything into place until you are sure it is correct.... read full review »

Holds lots, looks nice in yard.

Sturdy, set up is time consuming but worth the effort. It would be nice if in the discription it stated you needed to have some 2x4 so that you could have them by the time of delivery.

Set up for a handy man type person would be easy but anyone can do it. Good value for the price.

Easy Assembly, Good Size, Good Price

I have never been a fan of the hose reels made by this company so I was a bit skeptical at first. But it was the least expensive and more importantly I could go get it the same day. Most others were 2-4 wks for shipping. I found the instructions to be very clear. Once area was ready and parts laid out, the assembly was under an hour including cutting the 2x4's & pipe. It stores a mower, blower, edger, wheel barrow, spreader, and hand tools. The locking assembly for the doors is only plastic, a hacksaw would cut it off in a minute.

Suncast 7.5x5.5 shed

My wife and I put this shed together in a little over an hour. Most pieces snapped into place easily. Only a few needed some persuasion from a mallet. Have not put shelving in yet but am planning to. Riding mower fits nicely on one side and hand tools along the wall. Got a blowing rain yesterday and all was dry inside when I checked.

Suncast 7 1/2 by 5 1/2 shed

Nice shed and I'm glad I went with the 7 1/2 instead of 5 1/2 if you can fit it in your space. Measurements are wrong as previously mentioned. Actual are: 7' 9" by 5' 5 1/2". That 1/2" on the width made a difference for me because I had a clothesline embedded in the corner of my cement pad that I cut off for no reason. Also, previous commenter is right on the back wall. Make sure the tabs are up. I made the same mistake. Poor directions.

Works well

My girlfriend and I put this shed together in 2 1/2 hours. It would have been quicker, but we reinforced the floor with 2X4s, the roof with a metal rod, and built two shelves. It's easy to assemble and the pieces snap together. My only warning is to make sure follow the directions exactly because once you snap the pieces together, its hard to take apart. The shed is holding up well after 15 inches of snow this past weekend. It is currently holding my snowblower and a bicycle.

Great value-nice shed

My husband and I put this shed together in about 90 minutes. Leveling the ground took about an hour. It's very important to read the directions and level the ground so that the doors swing properly. We used the suggested 2x4s to weigh the floor section, as well. The shed went together perfectly, without any problems. It's a great value and looks nice, as well. I recommend having it delivered to your home. It comes in two very large boxes.

Easy Assembly

It took my husband and I 2 hours to assemble this shed. The directions were very easy to follow and we were not missing any parts. The pieces snapped together easily and the roof even went on without a problem. We had the shed delivered by Sears which I would recommend as it came in two huge boxes. Great shed!

perfect for lawnmowers.

This shed has an advantage of the door being on the narrow and and your lawn mower will fit right in without folding the handle. It takes two people to assemble and I recommend you read ALL the instructions first so you are prepared. Put some extra effort into leveling the ground and I also recommend adding the 2x4's to the slots in the floor as the directions recommend, otherwise the floor flexes a great deal. One disadvantage - can't lean anything heavy against the walls.

Suncast shed

Assembled this shed yesterday. Had no problems assembling, instructions were great and went together easily. Don't assemble it by yourself. Shed is not the most durable, but I didn't expect it to be with this price.

Nice Shed!

I have had my shed for about two months. It has plenty of room and is well constructed. Assembly is easy and the instructions have a diagram for constructing your own shelves. I would recommend getting some help with the roof as that is not a one person job. Also, be sure to put it on level ground as the doors will not close properly if you do not. One other thing to note, bring a full size truck if you pick up your shed. It comes in two large boxes that were dificult to transport in a compact truck. Thanks to the extreemely helpful Sears staff members who helped me figure a way to get it home!... read full review »
