Won't work

I bought this for my daughter and she complained that it just kept beeping and never heated up. We tried it here with my more expensive cookware (because that's what it calls for) and once again it just beeps and beeps. I am returning it. The controls and instructions were easy enough. My wife has it for 3 years, we're about to buy another. Very easy, quick and dependable. You must use the correct cookware, i.e. does a magnet stick to it. Does not need to be expensive as other review claims. Induction depends on magnetic heating!
