LockedWill Sears troubleshoot my problem?

I have a 2008 Dodge ram 1500, the ride itself is horrible. I would like to take it to sears but I am not sure if they will take the time to tell me what is exactly wrong or just tell me what they think it might be without even test driving my truck first. I have taken the truck back to the dealer where I purchased it and I know for a fact that they have not taken the time to see whats wrong. I think it may be the struts but I don't want to guess about this. could you please tell me what to expect before I go?  Thank you

What about taking it to another Dodge dealership? You are in a location where there should be several within 20 miles or so, no? I am sure Sears will tell you the same thing as I said.

I think it'll depend on the person more than any company. Some people are just lazy and will try to make a quick buck by pretending to know what the prob is. Think you just need to push the right person to actually take a test drive.

BobL27 and MikeRocks, Thank you for your advice on this matter. I think I will check out another Dodge dealership. I will see how that goes first and see if I can deal with someone that enjoys what they do. Thanks again.

It's your shocks. They are blown and need to be replaced.

If your truck has more than 50,000 miles, I would suggest changing your shocks out. First thing I would suggest looking at is your air pressure. Make sure it is at the manufacturer's recommended pressure. In our shop, most of the ride complaints I see come from that. Sears will look at your truck on a hoist, and will also test drive it to find out what the problem is. Hope this helps.
