I've had my DVD recorder for a couple of weeks now and it works perfectly. Easy to program and easy to use. I even use it as a recorder for my home security camera system.
GREAT PRODUCT!
Very seldom write a review, but felt a good review was in order. Had purchased an RCA VCR/DVD recorder combo just a few weeks ago. Programming not userfriendly-after a couple of hours did manage to get a playlist setup. The playlist just vanished-never got it back-which meant that I couldn't record anything from cable. VHS player had 'jumps' while playing. This was all in just a week of seldom use. Took it back for refund.
Bought the Sylvania for about the same price. Had it for just over a day. Setup was alot more userfriendly and also a lot less that 2 hours. VHS tapes don't jump, can actually...

Don't let the low price of this DVR recorder fool you, it is wonderful! You can spend more on the more expensive one, but why? This one gets the job done!
The kids love to have the ability to watch either their DVD's or Video Cassettes. It was very inconvenient to have two seperate devices.
A wonderful combo, to transfer those vhs over to dvd's, or just play a vhs, or dvd. Price is great too, dropped a hundred in the last 2 years. I have no problems with Sylvania's.
