Sylvania G Netbook Magni —
This was a gift and I really liked it until I started to use it. I did a dump to a flash drive using a USB port that's when I found out the USB ports are the obsolete slow speed 1.0 and not the higher speed 2.0. The advertised specs Sears uses just mentions 3 USB ports and not if they are 1.0 or 2.0. Since this g netbook Magni is supposed to be the latest you would think they have the 2.0 USB. Then on the third day the screen "lost" a pixel and a fine vertical line appeared on the right quarter of the screen. Through the internet I found out "lost" pixel was a problem with this model. One person had to replace his three times for the same problem. That was the end--I returned the device to Sears. I found out through the internet that this Magni is a knock-off of the MSI Wind but that's where it ends. My experience with this Magni tells me the quality is poor. I plan to get the MSI Wind U100-641 through Sears since Sears has been real good with the return.
