T-Fal Initiatives Total Non Stick 12.5 Inch Saute Pan, black —
I bought a set of T-fal non stick cookware costing me over $100 thinking that you get what you pay for. A big bonus was they had a lifetime Warranty. We, after using them about 1 month the nonstick coating started to bubble up. I followed the care instructions of the cookware to a T because it was my first really nice set of cookware. I called customer service about my warranty. Turns out I would have to pay to ship ALL of them there and maybe they would replace them and maybe they'd send the cookware back it was up to the company to decide if they thought it was a defective product or if I had done something wrong to cause the bubbling. I reassured them I hadn't done anything wrong and I cared for them like instructions said. After speaking with them and the tone of their voices and attitude I was pretty convinced that they were not going to replace my cookware. I couldn't afford to take the chance of paying the huge shipping costs(it weighed a LOT) for them to just send the cookware back. Needless to say within 6 months all the nonstick coating started to peel off. I had to continue to use them because I didn't have the money to buy more. Finally after hearing reports that these peeling non stick pans are linked to causing cancer I saved up for a new set of cookware. My new cookware is Awesome!!! They do not have the non stick coating but for some reason the foods do not stick as much as they did with the non stick which doesn't really make sence but it's true. When the food does stick it is so easy to clean up...just a scrubby and some hot water with lil effort. My old non stick pans had to soak hours sometimes days before I was able to get the food unstuck!
