Great table for the price. We love it. Only thing, one of the barstools was damaged. We called the company to get it replaced, they sent us a new one, and that was chipped! So,now, still waiting on a replacement so we can fix the last barsool.

We love this dining room set! It fits in a small kitchen as well and looks great. Despite what others said regarding putting the chairs together, my husband & son had no trouble. We did receive 2 right legs for one chair but we called the company (not Sears) & they quickly sent the correct leg. We received it in 2 days. We ordered this set after hours and Sears notified us the item was ready for pick up the next morning. They will load it in your car too. You can't beat using your rewards card for purchases. I've received money back toward other purchases - it adds up and saves me money!...

I purchased the dinette set on an after Thanksgiving Sale for 199.99. When I went to my local Sears they did not have it in the store but said I could order it on line for the sale price and pick it up at the store within 7 days.

When I picked it up I was pleasantly surprised at the quality if the furniture. It was packed in tons of bubble wrap to keep it from getting scratched during shipping. It took about 2 hours to put together because there were so many screws and nuts and bolts but the furniture is very strong and durable. The only thing I had problems with was getting all of the legs level. I price checked around and could find nothing nearly as beautiful at the price. Everything else was over 300.00. The people at the store were very good about helping getting it loaded into the truck because it was very heavy. I certainly would recommend this product to others.

Saw this set in the store and really liked it but not the price so I waited until Black Friday and got a great deal. I received it in less than a week.

This is a really nice looking set and just what I wanted. However, this was the biggest PITA to put together! After fighting with each chair because of wobbling, I finally figured out the biggest problem was the cross bars. If you don't put the screws in or just barely put them in and not tighten them, the chair will not wobble.

All that said, while putting it together, I would have gladly paid someone $100 to put the foolish chairs together and save me the aggrivation. It's done now though and I'm happy with the look!

It was shipped to our new apartment when we moved.Since we wanted a small but modern and sturdy dining table,it was a perfect fit.It took a few hours to assemble but the overall it looked beautiful and perfectly fitted our small space.We really like it even though it was not very sturdy it looked nice.When the guests come they notice it too and compliment about it so it I think it is a good value for the price.

Bought this table and got it home took all the stuff out of the box to put it together and noticed the corner of the table was damaged. The box was not damaged so it was packaged damaged. Sears exchanged it with no problem but had to re-package everything because the table top is in the box last and go all the way back to Sears. Thought they should have done something for the inconvience but did not.

The second table was fine no problems.

This is a great looking dinette set. The table and chairs are sturdy and the look/design of the table is very nice.

Bought this set on Black Friday 2009 and have enjoyed it since. It did take some time to put together because there are almost a bazillion screws, but it's sturdy. It's well packaged to prevent damage in shipping, including the capping of all the pre-assembled screws. We've actually nicked it more in day-to-day use! All in all, if you have a cat to help you keep the screws together, it's not that bad.

If there's one drawback which really isn't so much a "con," it's that you can't get additional chairs. Why would I want them when it comes with four chairs and only four sides of the table? The table is exactly the height and depth of our kitchen island. We simply slide the table over to the island and can easily accommodate more people in one place when it's a half dozen friends who don't want the complications and formality of eating in the dining room. Sorta becomes like a Benihana restaurant experience!

I'm trying to get Sears to sell the chairs separately or at least in pairs.

In general, we are happy with the dinette quality and design but we feel upset about the missing parts and wrong parts containing in one single package. We will contact the 800 number once we finish all the two sets we ordered during blakc friday at $219/ea.

I bought this table at our local sears store on the black Friday sale for 219.00. Great buy, but I did not get to see it on the floor only a picture of it. The colors are different than what the picture shows, but it really goes well with my decor. The only draw back is the legs on the table are uneven, but I have a throw rug under mine and it helps with the balance. The table top and seats are more of a cherry and the backing of the chairs are like a espresso color. The origianl price was 279.00 so paying 219.00 was a really good deal I couldn't pass it up! The chairs do have a lot of screws to put it together, but my ten year old daughter and I put them together except for the seats which require wood screws and I let my husband do that part!! :)

The colors look different than in the picture. The legs of the table and chairs are actually much darker, which almost make it look like a black and brown color set. Table is very nice and easy to put together. The chairs however, take a bit more work and have a lot of pieces and screws, etc. After you get the hang of it, it goes a little faster. The chair legs seem to be uneven though and I will have to find maybe one of those anti floor marking sliders to put under one leg of the chair. We only put two chairs together so far. Overall for the price I am happy. I hope the chairs will hold up and not get wobbly-- seems to be a problem with a lot of chairs these days. The set is beautiful and stylish.
