Does anyone have any idea when this TV will be back in stock? I've been trying to take advantage of the current sale Sears is running for this TV but NO ONE has it in stock.  I can't even order it becuase it is back ordered!  The day it went on sale I went to sears to pick it up but they didn't have any.  Very frustrating as the sale ends the 14th.

That is a gorgeous TV, Tulipo.  I did check in your area, and Sears.com does say that TV is available to be ordered online and picked up at quite a few stores in your area.

Please, make sure to call ahead, even after you have ordered, to your destination store.  You just want to make sure the website has been updated, and that TV is for sure in stock.

Thanks for your help.  May I ask what zip code you used? I used 22033 and still get out of stock everywhere in my area.

Here is the zip I used:   22030.

Hope that helps!

I as well have been trying to buy this TV, I checked Bestbuys,HHGREG,and sears that has it for cheaper than even Bestbuys had it. Everyone tells me it's on backorder from LG. Kinda strange they post a sale on a TV that isn't even in the stores. The display is all they have at these store's. Well I am trying to be patient, I hope when it doe's come in I can get it for the sale price of 1299.00. I try to do research on the best bang for the buck and this particular tv is a pretty solid tv, sad we cant get it now.

Sigh... Thank you for your help Julie, but I just got off the phone with the Fair Oaks store and was told it is still out of stock in the area and I still can't even order it for delivery.  I guess I'll keep waiting.  I just hope that when it is available the sale will be similar!  The sale going on right now is great.

Yeah this tv is by far the best bang for the buck right now.  The reviews for it, especially after a full ISF calibration, have been amazing.

I know how you feel I am just like you, waiting for something you want is kinda stressing. Now I don't know if this is true but Bestbuys told me they would have a shipment Nov.23rd, I have a raincheck from them, but their sale price a few weeks back was 1399.00, but they claim they will match any sale, problem is this sale is over soon, ugh.

But I am not from your area I live in North Carolina, 27604 area code

Even for 1399. that is a great deal.  Currently they have it listed on sale for 1699 which is okay but not great.  Unfortunately for both of us, Sears will not give us a raincheck for the sales price.  I was assured that it would be back on sale during this holiday season.  I just hope its at 1299.  Right now it's like they are just teasing us!!

Haha, thats not funny teasing us like that, I will be upset if I end up paying 3-400 more than the posted sale now. I was reading another forum where they were saying something about LG has stopped production because of other led companies claiming they are useing a technology they were not suppose too, like useing patended idea other companies own. I am not sure at all what its all about or even if its true. I don't remember the place I read that at, but hope its not true at all.I already have a sound bar I plan to buy with the TV, a Polk audio SDA soundbar, but why buy it when I cant get the TV yet.

Ok I just called LG the company, he was not alot of help really but he did clear up the rumor I quoted prior, it is just that a rumor I read is all the 47LH90 is one of their newer models and theres no problem there , he told me to go to any retailer like Sears or Best buys and buy it, I said I wish I could. But seems we just need to be patient they will be there at some point. I asked another question I was wondering if LG was American, no its Korean. Thats all good with me asians know eletronics better than we do I believe haha.

Hello all, from a trusted Blue Electronics Crew member, I heard there's a vendor supply issue for a short time, but we would love to offer this great substitute: Samsung UN46B7000 Sears item at $700 off!!!!!!!

What do you think?

I was originally wanting the samsung, I think the one I was looking at was a 240 Hz so maybe thats the 8000 not sure. Certainly the thin profile is really cool being it would look like a pic on the wall, also the Samsung has internet options the 8000 is wireless I believe. But after learning more about the LG 47LH90, being it's sale price was a real attention getter, I figured the internet options were not as important being it was like real time news and weather etc,,, It's my understanding the edge light Samsung isnt as even in the pic quality being brighter around the edges.Plus the LG has more pic adjustments, point being after all I learned thinner doesn't mean better in all aspects. With that said I believe the Samsung to be a great TV, I overall was attracted to the 240Hz and quality pic, and massive great reviews the LG got not to mention the great sale Price sears has offered.

The 7000 is a good TV but the LH90 gives the better picture quality because it is not Edge Lit LED like the Samsung.  The only Samsung I would consider would be the 8500 series which is a local dimming LED, but that is just out of my price range!  I will wait patiently for the LG unless the 8500 series of the Samsung some how falls waaaay down.

I'm not really sold on the whole 240hz thing honestly.  Maybe I'll get used to it but every time I see it makes the picture look artificial.

How would you rate the 55"LH90 vs the 47"LH90 bigger screen same specs.? I'm in the same boat here in Buffalo,NY There aren't 1  of these 47" TV's to be found.

the 55 inch is just as good as the 47.  They have the 55 in stock?  Sadly, the 55 is out of my price range.

Hi everyone.  Having the same problem here in Cleveland trying to find this television.  It was even in their flier on Sunday but they never had anything in stock.  I was told over the phone twice that they could order it so I drove 40 miles one way to do so and they said sorry, just sold out which is wrong because judging from the previous posts, they never had any stock.  Almost seems like a bait and switch where they carry little or no stock of an item that is a great deal, then suggest the more expensive model(Samsung as the "Blue Crew member mentioned above).  The reason they can legally do this is because they put in fine print "First come, First Serve" or "While supplies last".

From what I have been told simply they are waiting on LG to send, so I have this pic in my head of this ship deep at sea heading to USA full of these tv's haha.

I even called LG in NJ I think is where it was, he acted like if you want the TV go to sears or best buys, I said yea that would be nice if they had them.

I was offered the floor model at a best buy's 1399.00 - 10% , I said no thanks I will wait. I believe they will have stock before xmas though, so we just need to wait I guess. Here in NC where I live they extended to sale at Sears till the 21st, would be great if they get them in before that date.

I tried getting 1 last night for ground delivery + 65.00 del and when I got a little bit happy that the live chat guy said it would be around 1500.00 approx. without NY tax. Then he said delivery was unavailabe in my area. They told me that they'll send me an e-mail when they're in. Probably @ reg. price. :(  I guess I'll have to wait till after the holidays and find it then. Good Luck to everyone else whose trying hope Santa brings you 1 or 2.

Why didn't you take the display model? I know they run from 10am till 10pm but still, unless there was something visibly wrong with it.
