If "Batman Begins" took Batman back to his roots, "The Dark Knight" takes The Joker back to his. If all you know of The Joker is the campy Batman TV show , that is not the character as it was originally conceived. Back in the 30's and 40's in the comic books, The Joker was a psychotic killer. That changed later with the advent of the Comics Code Authority, but the original characterization of The Joker was a dangerous, dangerous villain.

heath ledger really played his heart out on this movie as joker. i was amazed because this was the first movie i ever seen with him it in. too bad that he had to pass away because now i see what a great actor he really was. i recommended this movie to a lot of my friends and family and they too love this movie. in my opinion this was the best batman movie. just keep in mind that this only is my opinion because you may beg to differ. i really love watching this movie because it's very action packed and the jocker is really funny,
The best batman movie by far. Love the visual effects, amazing sound effects and stunning acting. The one con would be if they would have added a lighter more children friendly edition on the DVD. My 5 year old loves batman and it's hard for me to approve him watching it. But this movie is great and you'll watch multiple times.
in my opinion this truely is the best batman movie. heath ledger played his heart out and it was the last movie he was able to make.
Being a huge superhero fan, my family couldn't wait to see this movie and I have to say we very pleased. It was the best Batman movie yet...and I love Christian Bale as Batman. I was worried that the Joker character would be too much and too scary for my son, but he enjoyed the movie and is begging to see it again. I was hesitant about letting him see it, even though je's a huge Batman fan. I'm relieved that they kept the violence and graphics to a minimum and stayed true to the Joker's character by adding some dark humor.
Dark Knight ---Loved this movie - Batman at it's best - Keith Ledger at his best - we will miss him. Action from start to finish - every time I watch it - I see even more from the characters & special effects. Truely the best Batman ever!!!
The Dark Knight was better than I thought it would be. Even though it was 2-1/2 hours long, it still didn't seem that long of a show. Batman was brilliant and the Joker was even better! I normally don't like Batman movies either, but this one was out of this world! It kept you on your seat all the way thru the movie! The Joker was my favorite by far, Heath Ledger did the best performance I have ever seen any actor do in a movie in a long time! He really got into his scenes, like they said he did. when i really love this movie. if you haven't seen this movie yet you should.
This is a very good movie, and one of the best superhero, comic-based movies ever. This is where Batman begins to take down Gotham's criminals and they fight back. Batman has to decide what his role will be and how far he will take it. A great movie that shouldn't be missed.
