This product is excellent for babies from birth to about 10 months. My son learned to reach, roll over, crawl and sit up with the help of the activity gym. He is nearly a year old now and he still plays with the mirror and dangling toys. I would recommend this to anyone who has a baby at home. It also washes very well - just follow the instuctions. The only thing I can say that might be a negative is that the battery compartment is a little tight so it is a little difficult replacing the batteries.
My daughter played on this as an infant on her back and also when she could sit up. The absolute best thing about this product is that you can fold it in half and slip it behind the couch when not in use.

My baby was very happy with this item. He was extremely engaged in the music and hanging toys. If you are looking for stimulation and engagement in toys for your child, this is great for a newborn.
This playmat was a life saver. It has an abundance of activties above and below, perfect for back and tummy time. The set-up was effortless and it held up well after being washed (numerous times).
