What is trade wear gauge?  What's better 340,560,580 or 700z?  Also for traction grade what is batter B, A or AA?

Tread depth gauge- It's a tool we use to measure the tread depth on tires. The numbers you have below look like UTQG (Universal Tire Quality Grade) ratings for tread wear. The higher the number then better but you can't compare the number across brands because they are not standardized. You can only compare within brands. Ex. Michelin Weatherwise II with a 740 tread wear rating is not quite as good as a Michelin Hydroedge that has an 800 tread wear rating. As far as traction; A is better than B and AA is better than A.  Hope that helps!
