TomTom - Tom Tom One Reviews

I got the Tom Tom One when I got my car, as a new driver, so I would be able to learn where things were around town. Also, I use it all the time for longer trips and trips out of state. It will reroute you, give you alternate directions, judge by distance or by time, and there is a place for favorites. However, if it is not currently at the location where it was turned off, it takes a minute for the satellites to find its location but from there it's fine. I bought the Tom Tom One so that I could find my way around a new town and also for use when I travel.  This product allows you to go online and update maps and get new voices for the gps.  It DID have a couple of times when I was traveling that the gps kind of went crazy and wanted me to turn off onto non-existent roads. I'm not sure if this is a product error or just in need of an update.  I also had to go to the Tom Tom website to update everything; it wouldn't load the program onto my computer at first.  It IS clear and easy to read, and it lets you know ahead of time which lane you need...

The Tom Tom is the best money you will ever spend on an electronic gadget. It is easy to use, it recalculates routes quickly, and it gets you where you are going. Ladies, you should not travel alone without one of these!

The tom tom gps one is my best friend when Im driving. I just moved to Ohio from Puerto Rico by myself , I never had lost here! Easy to use, friendly , fast!! and is not to expensive. 

I love my Tom Tom. I like that I can change the appearance and sound. It is easy to update. Would recommend to my friends who are also directionally challenaged
