No such product appears in a google search. Only a twitter page and an Audi forum come up in the search results.

It's in an autozone radio commercial.

Is that like the Pneumatic needle-scalers Sears sells on the web site?

The typical Helsinki Smash Rod operates manually, but pneumatic models can be special-ordered.

smash rod?  I don't think so!

Ok.

It's not a type of fishing rod, neither.

It looks very "mechanical" and apparently uses a "speed regulator"...

I'm confused.

Yes, it is in a Sears radio commercial that I heard.  A guy calls Sears saying he needs his car fixed, and the Sears automotive guy says something like: they can fix anything at Sears and at competitive prices.  The guy calling Sears starts naming things off asking if Sears can fix them, such as brakes, struts, alignment... And the Sears guy says yep to each one.  Then the guy says "Helsinki Smash Rod", and then the Sears auto guy says, "You just made that word up, sir."  Then the other guy says something like: I wanted to see if you were paying attention.
