Sets of what?

Mechanics Tools?

Screwdrivers?

Pliers?

Sockets?

Craftsman has got a LOT of "sets".

Wrench Sets

Ah! Wrench sets.

I see... 12 pnt combination wrenches, 6 pnt combination wrenches, box wrenches, deep-offset box wrenches, open-end wrenches, crow-foot wrenches, Craftsman ratchet wrenches, tapet wrenches, line-wrenches, sockets and ratchets and all the screwdrivers as being Made in the U.S. of America.

Could it be some folks are looking very HARD for the other type of tools?

Guess they dont have to look too hard for the China stamps.  I believe them.

china has inferior steel, purchase german made equipment if you want quality. purchase american if you want your opinions to be better than your tools

I have been buying lots of Craftsman wrench sets lately and yes most are USA.  On the main isle (end cap?) of my local store they put much of the ad stuff that is China Craftsman like the dog-bone and elbow ratcheting wrenches and others.

Actuary, I have too look harder to find the USA stuff!

They're on the endcaps because they're new and innovative products. They've actually been selling like mad. Dogbones were sold out nationwide for a while, and the universal wrenches have been difficult to get in. The elbow wrenches and 100% ratcheting wrenches aren't quite as big a seller yet, but they didn't have as low a price point. I'm sure as people get to buying themselves tools rather than tools for others, they'll become very popular.

I really like ratcheting wrenches and have 4 of the Craftsman USA sets.

I got lots of US of A made stuff, out in the Workshop.

A lot of it is Craftsman, with Stanley coming in a close 2nd place for woodworking tools.

I even have some made HERE Craftsman powertool stuff...
