LockedNew Craftsman Sockets

posted on August 30, 2009 at 04:32PM Inappropriate?

We just got these little guys in.

Would you believe a little fractational set, of 1/4 inch drive, Impact sockets?

There's no hook to stock them on the floor, yet.

But, MAN! These guys would make fantastic stocking stuffers!

Mmm...

I should probably get a Craftsman 1/4 inch drive Impact Ratchet - to go along with them.

:)

The socket set is $29.99.

I would imagine the metricanical version arriving directly.

We just got our Craftsman dogbones. We also got a "pocket ratchet" that is a ratchet that holds 7 sockets in the handle. Pretty slick, though it's a non-Craftsman product, so no warranty. And, more evolv tools, like hammers (which are actually halfway decent, especially compared to the old Companion ones). And...more KR tapes and rubber mallets? Wha?

Yaa...

And, a very "interesting" set of combination wrenches.

Comes in a little plastic pouch.

We got the metricals in.

Unfortunately, no one has discovered where the new sockets are supposed to hang.

They're around here "somewhere", though...

No dump boxes for those?

Dump boxes?

I don't understand.

They're probably mixed in with an "over-stock" box. - God help them!

Dump boxes: those pretty boxes that the dogbones, screwdriver sets, universal wrenches, recip saws, circular saws, B&D dogbones, Sheffield tools, etc. go into instead of having a gift bar.

Oh, and don't forget all those 25' tape measures!

Oh...

You mean the holiday display boxes.

No impact sockets on display.

Although, that would almost be the only type of socket NOT on display in the boxes - not locked up - like the regular sockets.

The boxes look so pretty...

Except'n the Automotive Center boxes.

They crushed under the product (rechargers and jumper cables) weight, in less than two-days.

So much for "User testing".

Whatcha need there is "wood".

They found a spot for the new 1/4 inch drive socket sets.

They're up, on locked hooks.

But, the display is not behind glass.

One socket set, plastic holder has already "come loose" while on display.
