We here at Craftsman are always looking for ways to serve our customers better. One of the areas I am focusing on is how to better serve our Power, Hand and Lawn & Garden Tool Professionals such as construction workers, plumbers, woodworkers, industrial workers, contractors, electricians, mechanics, landscapers etc..... If you are a Professional who uses Power tools in the Northwest Chicago area with cities like Schaumburg, Hoffman Estates, Palatine, Arlington Heights, Barrington, Elgin. Please let me know. I'd only need 15-25 minutes of your time to come by your place of work and interview you. You'd be helping Craftsman better serve your needs in the future. As a thank you I would bring some Craftsman gifts. Please let me know if you'd be interested by e-mailing me at mfilip2@searshc.com. Thank you.

A really good off-shoot Craftsman brand, from a while back, was the Craftsman Commercial brand of extra heavy duty tools.

There were (I own) electric Craftsman Commercial portable power tools.

And, a FANTASTIC all-metal Craftsman Commercial Audible-click series of torque wrenches.

Need Help...

What to purchase a router for my son whom is exceptional in learning to work with tools.  (He is 17 and as worked in all the high school cunstruction programs. Helped build 2 homes from ground up and is working on cabinetry.  Made all the cabinets in the house they are building now!!)

He uses the school tools and want to add to his personal set of tools but have no idea which one to get???  He as done all the basics with a router and now with the cabinets and custom trim work he is learning, I am trying to find a tool he can advance with.

Any ideas would be great.  He's come a long way with his abilities and want to get the best of the best for him.  Not concerned with the money just the quality of the tool.  Aslo need to get a nail gun, again with one or two to fill out his wish list??

No I did not ask him because thses are a suprise from his Dad who is deployed.

Thanks for letting me ramble but I really want the best tools at will last, he really does deserve this!
