Sears price matched another vendor and they were very accomodating with that.

The sales represetative had experience with the blower and had some very helpful tips.

This was my third leaf blower and I have used it for several ours and I am very happy with Sears and the performace of the Toro blower.

I am very happy with the weight as I had anticipated it being heavier due to the power but it is well balanced.

The blower/vac/shredder worked very well in the vacuum mode and made short work of my enormous leaf pile. I used the attachment which puts the cuttings directly into a trash can and it worked well. The unit is not perfectly balance and the shoulder strap on the bag could be al little longer but the unit did a very good job.

I purchased the Toro blower/vac/shredder for myself. I am a 65 year old woman and I wanted this just for me. I didn't want to have to deal with trying to start a gas model with a pulley or have to deal with the weight. I just used my Toro on a large job picking up leaves and debris from my yard and was amazed at how well it mulched even wet leaves. Because I was using it on wet leaves I expected to have to unclog the unit and I did have to do this but it was only a couple of times and it was because I sucked up something that I shouldn't have. I had 4 completely full yard and leaf bags of pulversized leaves and debris but if I had just raked and bagged I would have easily used 8 or 10 bags. The blower is awesome. I couldn't believe how strong it was and how easily it blew the leaves from the flower beds without moving the mulch (as long as you weren't right on top of the mulched area) even standing at a distance the leaves just flew out of the gardens. I am so very pleased...

Had my last Toro Blower for 10 years and it finally gave out. This unit seems much better built and works great! Simple to use, no fuss, no muss.

I was looking for a reasonably price blower/vac unit that works well. I was very surprised how easily it is to switch from the blower to the vacuum. With the metal impeller, I haven't had any problems with the unit getting clogged up either. I love the variable speed knob!! The only thing I would like to see improved is the way the bag works. First the strap does not stay on your shoulder, so the bag drags on the ground. It also fills very quickly & you have to stop and empty it too often. I also feel they would use another type of material which would be more durable....

I previously owned the lesser black model for a few years and it was great until the plastic propeller broke. The Ultra Blower (red model) solved this problem with a medal propeller that chops up sticks very well.

Let's face it, you are bound to suck up small twigs when operating the shredder. The cheap plastic piece is going to be the first to go. Atleast when it's medal it will take a beating much better.

The blower aspect is great with multiple settings. the 235 mph is very powerful and does the job well.

The bagger holds quite a bit of mulched up leafs. My only issue with the bag is that it's white. Shredding up one batch of slightly wet leaves turns the bag to brown quickly. An improvement would be a gray or black back for the mulch.

All in all I would definitely buy this again and buy it over the cheaper model. It's better and it will last you much longer.

on the first use on blower/sucker bag tore on seam and debri blows into your face.Took itback to Sears for just a new bag on 11-7 and was told I had to bring the whole thing back and get a new one. Ridiculous................

The first time I used the blower i had to clear the yard of a huge piles of leaves. Once piled up, I ground up and filled 6 bags with crushed leaves. The only issue that I had was tubing pulling out of the bag. I used the universal bag that attached to a large container rather than the bag that came with the blower. Because of this all comments in the negative list refer to it not the bag supplied with the blower. Worked perfectly....

Have owned this for 3 months, used about 4-5 times and guess what...wires cooked off and the smell of burnt electirical wires pored out of the unit. So off to "Warrenty" evaluation it goes...looks to me it would cost more (for just the cost of labor) to actually fix the inside electrical stuff than the product is worth in dollar value. So I am currently without my blower and wondering when Toro will notify me they can not fix the product. Waiting....waiting...waiting...Nice.

This is a fabulous blower, shredder and vacuum. It is light weight and so easy to use. I have a gas blower that is so hard to start where this is a breeze. All the attachments go on easily and work as is instructed. It is very powerful and I would recommend it to all my family and friends. On top of everything else it is very economical in price.

Bought and used this one today, March 19, 2011. I'm a 5' 7" male, 58 years old, with a lower back herniated disc. Ergonomically, it worked out great for me when I used it to vacuum leaves from my landscaping and from the lawn in my back yard. No lower back pain from leaning forward. I was able to stand straight up and vacuum for 2 hours without a problem. And this Toro has sufficient power too. I absolutely love it. I can't wait to use it on the front yard tomorrow.

I have had this product about 3 weeks, I finally got to use it after snow melt (yes in TX) and a huge rain storm. I had raked the leaves, we have 3 Large trees in our front yard and 2 Huge Oaks in our back yard, but our neighbors around us have large trees along our chain link fence, so I get tons of leaves. Usually use at least 25 - 30 bags in a season, getting the leaves off my yard. So the leaves had been raked into small piles. The first day, I vacced 9 bags of leaves the Toro worked great even with the leaves toward the bottom of the pile being wet. I bagged from the side yard and back yard 11 bags of leaves. I must say thought after all the snow and rain, we had a lot of small twigs and limbs that fell into the piles, so I gave up on vac and began burning, I didn't want to take a chance of destroying the new machine, although it does grind up small twigs well, and never jammed. I would definitely recommend this product. The reason I didn't give 5 stars, is that it is a little cumbersome......
