just after two seasons of using it the bag for mulching ripped. We bought ours in seven years go and still use it to blow leafs.Otherwise a very good machine. It is light weight and easy to plug in. I bought one & used it today. I'd say it's ok but hard to believe it's  more powerful than a gas blower. The biggest draw back is no on/off switch, just variable. This is probably more of an inconvience. But in a emergency i would like to have an on/off switch, the variable is ok but a separate on/off...

I've owned a few of these combos by various manufacturers over the years, this latest Toro offering is the best one yet. It is lightweight, easy to carry around, easy to convert from blower to vac, powerful enough to blow or mulch even fairly wet leaves and has an adjustable control knob so you won't peel the paint off your house. If you live in an area with a lot of trees then this thing will pay for itself in no time when the leaves start falling. A couple of things to watch for: 1.) Good idea to rake and sift leaves into smaller piles before vacuuming just to make sure you don't suck up any...
