Toshiba Satellite Laptop —

I spent almost a full week reading tons of reviews every day to figure out what my next laptop purchase would be. My qualifications were these: large screen (bigger than 15.4 inches at least), quality sound system, excellent graphics, AMD processor, a lot of memory, and great reviews (just to name a few). I wasn't exactly seeking a desktop replacement, but definitely a computer that will run my programs for photo editing. My Toshiba Satellite A355D does exactly what I need. The performance is fantastic, and I am so stoked about this computer.My only complaints about it are the finish is a fingerprint magnet! It is glossy and beautiful, but after typing for 10 minutes the entire keyboard is coated. But the computer came with a cleaning cloth that works very well.I actually like the way 64-bit Vista Home Premium works on this computer. I am not a huge fan of Vista, but I do like the way it works on this machine.My favorite features are the Dolby digital sound room Harman/Kardon speakers and the 16 inch screen. Also, the touch keys for mute, play/pause, stop, fastforward/rewind, and the media room (above the function keys on the keyboard).Altogether, this computer is exactly what I need. I wasn't looking for a portable machine (obviously--looking for 16 inch screens) but the computer is incredibly lightweight (around 6 lbs I believe).
