“If only all cars were this quiet!”

: cost-conscious, married, daily driver, fuel-conscious, practical, value conscious, not rich, a techie, computer literate, a Mac addict
Pros: gas efficient, great mileage, Comfortable & great ride., nice and quiet, Great for environment., compact but comfortable, drives like a regular car

Toyota Prius - 2005 —

Everyone that I talked to when I first bought my Prius asked me if I thought it was dangerous to drive such a quiet car. The first time someone asked me that, I was taken aback, but the next time someone did, I asked them back "Wouldn't it be nice if all cars were this quiet?" Think of the city traffic that would be quieter! If everyone drove hybrid vehicles and then someone invented the V8, there would be an uproar from people about noise pollution!

Speaking of pollution, the Prius does not pollute nearly as much as a gasoline vehicle. At least in California, that means that the Prius is exempt from smog checks!
