It's official. The store has Craftsman 1st Tool Reciprocating Saw tool toys in the store warehouse.

Now before anyone comments on the choice of tool toy, let me say this; there have already been two different models of 1st Tool "chainsaw" toys.

Compared to a chainsaw, a reciprocating saw tool w/plastic "blades" is pretty tame...

:)

I liked last year's Pneumatic Nailer tool toy and the arc welding tool toy.

Every child should learn a skill.

And, Welding is definitely quite a good skill.

Sears had an interesting Craftsman 1st tool, a few years ago.

Would you believe a "handsaw" toy?

It even made sound, when used.

I can be so much FUN, at times...

I kept telling the parents we just had the Rip saw (straight chisel-cut teeth) in stock, with no Crosscuts currently available.

Ever seen a "Deer in headlights"?

That's what most of these folks expressions looked like.

LOL!

A few of them "got" the joke.

Then, we both LOL'd...

Sears has got a Laser-guided handsaw, in the catalog.

No joke.

No toy.

Has got a real blade held by a plastic hollow handle - with a Laser inside of the handle.

Oh...

Anyone who works with me, at the store, will quickly verify the answering deal.

"Was that page for me?

I don't know.

Well, ONE of us needs to be listening!

Fine. YOU listen."

Every child should learn the basics of Welding.

That's why there's a Craftsman 1st toy Welding - Torch.

It looks like a MIG torch.

But, the light is reddish.

It does not appear to be stick...

What the hay... it's a TOY!

Watch your weld penetration there. You don't want too shallow a weld bead. Adjust your gas flow!

You've got to develop a welding rhythm...

They got a Craftsman 1st toy hot dog style Air compressor toy.

I got a real one of them little compressors.

It's real handy for blowing out power tools and inflating tires.

I found a new 2009 Craftsman 1st toy Chainsaw.

I'm not sure there is a "place" for it, out on the toy display shelves.

But, the store has some...

I just ordered some of the Crafsman 1st toys for my son. He is crazy for tools like his daddy is. He sees dady with his tools working in the garage and he does the same. I hope these toys will be durable and well made. They are currently on sale and I think the price is great. I ordered the air compresor, pressure washer and engine kit.

Okay, what if we have a baby girl who is intersted in how things work?

And notices very early how moving one thing will move what it touching it!

Does this mean she could be mechanically inclined? Can I foster this even though it is thought of as a male thing?

Thanks, and I look forward to hearing from YOU, everyone who loves tools!

I have posted a question for you, sweetie, can you talk to me about babies and tools when you get time? I know she can't have a buzz saw, but it is okay to buy train sets and toy work benches for girls?

Why shouldn't girls know about tools and trains?

What is fascinating to me are the Kenmore 1st Appliances!

A wooden washer and dryer set...

Really?

My wife loves using her tools and we get about TWICE the DIY stuff done.

...

Nov. 11th

I just put out this year's selection of Craftsman 1st tools "chainsaw".

It comes complete with a plastic scrench...

Josephine likes the christmas displays at Kmart if they are *moving*. today she was sitting in a swing next to me and figured out that she could kick me to push her swing. and she is jut a couple months old!!!

Many of my neighbors have boys ages 1-6 and I will recommend these toys for Christmas gifts. Can you please post a link to them, so I can tell the other parents? Thank you so much
