Twilight is a must read

I was VERY hesitant to read this book. I have kids and a full time job so I really never have the time. Plus, I have never really "liked" to read. But my best friend gave me the set for Christmas, and one day I was bored...so I started to read. When I looked up 4 hours had past!! It is well written,...

I did enjoy this book very much. I took me reading it twice to really visualize everything. I feel like the writing is a little under par however. That could have been better but you do get wrapped into the characters and start to fall for Edward. I also enjoyed the movie, which I recommend you watch...

Loved the book and movie

I saw the movie on a recommendation of a friend because I really didn't know much about it. I am so glad I did! I fell in love with the movie, so I had to read the book, and I have read all of the books and love them all! Don't worry that there are too many pages.  When a book is good, you don't realize that! You'll want more!

Easy Read! Great Story!

Of course, there's tons of hype around Twilight right now, but I do have to say that Stephenie Meyer is wonderful at character development. I am an occasional reader (and a mom), so getting me to sit down for any length of time is tough. This is a great story and an easy read! I was hooked from the beginning.

perfectly amazing

I NEVER thought I'd become interested in any of the Twilight books or movies. I was visiting my brother and his new girlfriend the other day, and she is obsessed with Twilight, we decided to watch it, I instatly fell in love! When we got home I went out and bought the first book and read it, the next day I was out hunting for the second book. I simply cannot get enough of Twilight! I suggest these books to anybody at all, some of the people who I would never guess would like the books do! AWESOME READ.

I had only heard of the Twilight books when the hype for the movie came out.  I ADORE fantasy literature (fairies, shape shifters, vampires) and bought the book on a whim while at my local bookstore.  Holy cow!  I finished the first book in one day and went back the next day to buy the second (they were out of 3 and 4) and also finished it in one day!  This is such a captivating series, I could not wait to find out what happened next!  I had to wait 5 days before the last two books arrived and was just as hungry for those!  I finished each book in 1 day.  It is great to have a vampire story... read full review »

All the teens were talking about this book, including my daughter. After being told that the book(s) were about vampires, I had absolutely no interest in reading it.

Then the teens were disappointed that the movie release was scheduled for the same day that we leave on a church retreat.  Therefore, I agreed to take them to see it on the following Tuesday.  So then I felt compelled to read it before seeing the movie.

I was hooked immediately, from the 1st chapter.   I found both the plot and the characters to be captivating, enchanting, and mysterious.  It truly was the best book that I had...

A few weeks ago my 11 year old, the youngest of 5, told me how much she hated reading (which I encourage almost to the point of being pushy in my family).  However, I've had 4 others who told me the same at that age.  I'm aware that all kids at this age say that until they find something they really want to read.  Unfortunately, there's not much for that age until they stop thinking boys have cooties.

Enter Twilight.  I'd seen it for awhile and just knew my girl wouldn't read it.  But, as usual, friends have more influence and she asked me to get her the first one...which...

Now this book Twilight is the best book I have read since Harry potters series. I am a sci/fi freak and when it comes to a good read, this is great. All of the Twilight series are great. You just can not get the 1st book Twilight and not get them all because it would just drive you crazy not to read them all!! The movie was good but the books are execellent. So if you are like me and love sci/fi books, this is a great one. So I say get them all. You will not regret it.

The first time i read Twilight it was borrowed to me from a friend who recommended it to me. I thought it was gonna be just some ''kiddy book'' because i heard it was popular with teenage girls. Then on a rainy day out of boredom i actually sat down and started to read it, it hooked me from the very beginning i had a hard time putting it down it was that good i got caught up with the characters and interested in the story more and more. by the end i was ready to pick it up and read it over i liked it that much. I recommend it to all ages. Yeah i think it is more a book for ladies but if you...

When my sister told me she was READING (my sister does not read) a book by Stephenie Meyer, and finished the series within the timespan of a few weeks, I determined that this was a series I had to try.  So, I borrowed Twilight from my sister and began a journey that included love, tears, laughter and beautiful friendship, to only name a few.

After the first chapter of introduction to the main character, I found myself yearning to continue to read more, always that "one more page, one more chapter," until I realized I had finished the book in less than two days.  This book creates an incredible...

I thought this book was simply "OK", but I am almost 30 years old and not really thrilled by teeny-bopper romance drama books. If you are an adult and want a good vampire book to read, I suggest the Sookie Stackhouse series.

This story is so much more than a vamprie and human story it's more about undying love that does not end and knows no bounds.
