Twitter's ability to promote real time communication makes it an effective way to engage users in the online community. It can be unorganized at times, but if you connect with the right users and have engaging followers, it can be a rewarding experience.

Just like every other social networking site Twitter has it's purpose. I use twitter to communicate with my friends from all around the world as to what I'm doing right then or what I'm thinking about. They en turn use the service for the same purpose. What makes twitter different from others services are to key parts first the length of massages are only allowed to be 140 characters and second how you interact with Twitter.
