Really like the look of this bedding! I've had mine for year, and it's just not holding up like I would want. The black felt is rubbing off, and the stuffing inside the comforter is relocated and making the comforter bumpy. I'm doing my best to take good care of - not sitting on it or putting things on my bed. But I don't think I will have this bedding come 4 years from now; don't think it will make it. :(
This set is so beautiful but it is NOT practical for real life. I took the comforter to be dry cleaned so as to not have some of the other issues mentioned in the reviews, but no luck. All the black velour flocking washed off and looked AWFUL. BUT, I had spent so much money on ALL the shams and bought all these accent pieces and painted the room to match the set. So I was silly enough to go buy the comforter set AGAIN when it was on sale, thinking we could just hand wash it as needed. And this time the bright fluorescent stains ruined it! SOOOO frustrated. My husband and I got this set 6 months ago for our king size bed and we both love it. The materials are all very comfortable and look great. The colors are neutral and easy to match. I recently decided to change it up with some orange sheets and they look awesome, so it is also versatile. Not that there is anything wrong with the white ones, I just like change.
I ordered the Finch Complete Bed Set, The Valances, and a decorative pillow for my son's birthday. The shams, bed skirt and sheets were gray, while the comforter was beige. Matching my foot, the description says they match, but they DO NOT. Those that received a matching set just got lucky I guess. In addition, I STILL have NOT received the valances or pillow. Everyday I check tracking and it states they will be there that day and NEVER are. I am waiting for them so I can take the whole kit 'n' kaboodle back. They'll probably be purple. I wonder if Ty knows that his name is on...
read full review »Comforter is not as beige as the picture shows, it's more of a grey color, but it is still VERY nice!! The comforter is well made. It's a little stiff at first, but it softens up quickly. The sheets are very soft. I am pleased with the service I got from Sears and the product itself. Would buy from Sears again:)
A good set for the money. I really enjoy modern design with neutral colors, so this is a great fit for me.my husband doesn't think it's too girly, as he does with many sets. The sheets are almost flannel-like, which I didn't expect, but is ok. If you want really luxurious fabrics and detail, don't shop at Sears, but for what I paid, I'm very satisfied.
This bed set is as beautiful as it is in the picture. The comfortaer is a little stiff and sratchy. However, the first time I had to wash the comforter it faded and the velour on the trees washed off! I am not impressed with the quality of this set (at least the comforter!) After it was washed it faded, but not evenly. It faded in big blotches all over so I can't even put it on the bed without it looking awful! Needless to say, I would not recommend this set to anyone.
