I have not tried it yet on dark or especially delicate fabric. That's only a small amount of my clothes and I can use a separate detergent for that. For general purpose wash, it works just fine. I find it easier to dispense and measure than liquid. No problems with clumping. I am satisfied with my purchase. I would buy this product again, as long as it remains a value.

It is a great product with wonderful cleaning power. Have used Sears laundry detergent for 30+ years. Does not have an obnoxious scents. Have never had the problem with the cardboard boxes, but the Colorado climate is fairly dry. Did like the tub, as it has many other uses, ie. scrubbing floors, washing cars, storing tools. Sorry this is so short, my first one was better.
I was a avid and devoted tide fan. I had heard about Ultra Plus Powder laundry detergent with stain fighter for years from both family and friends. I needed laundry detergent and was in Sears, not wanting to make another stop decided I would give it a try. Love this stuff, I could do a commercial, Not only does it work but you get a whopping 17.3 lbs at a unbelievable price. You can't beat quality and quanity at low cost in this economy. I stay stocked up with ultra. Go Sears!
I have used this product for years and have found it to be very good. It is a good price for the quality and quantity that you get. I have three small children so I know about dirty clothes. I would recommend this product to anyone.

This detergent is awesome! I use it in my old 1970s washer and it wourks great. There isn't an overpowering scent, and it cleans very well. It actually works better than any other powder I've ever used. I really like it and always stock up when I can. I have never had it out of stock at my local Sears store.
does great job on tough laundry
We buy Ultra Plus 17.3 pound Powder Laundry Detergent in bulk to last an entire year. We recommend buying in quantity when this item goes on sale to save even more!
Just switched from a top loader, to a front loader. This Detergent has worked great for the past 2 weeks. I haven't used it enough to determine how well the colors hold up while using this detergent, but all the clothes come out clean!
This stuff is better then tide. The price is also better then tide. Love it!!!
I have been using the Ultra Plus Ultra Plus 17.3 lb. Powder Laundry Detergent w/ Stain Fighting Formula for about six months with very satisfactory results. Being a widower of two years I am still learning a lot about laundry. Am very satisfied with the product.
This a great laundry detergent. I use in both my Frigidaire front loader and my 1970's Maytag top loader, with excellent cleaning results in both machines.
I bought a 17.3 lb box in May of this year, and I still haven't finished the box yet. I'm going to Sears today to buy another box!
