i love this detergent. i used to use liquid soaps because they are disolved but with this soap i just put it in and start the water before i add my clothes. i don't wait any more time than that so it really is just as easy to use. my kids have sensitive skin but they gave never gotten a rash with this soap.it cleans really well and it is so much easier going to sears a couple of times a year than buying bottles every time i go to the supermarket. i recommend this soap to everyone i talk to. its great

I have tried many laundry detergents before including the ************ brand but I think the powdered Ultra Plus is worth more for my money. I ran out so I need to buy this again.

Making a detergent is not rocket science and therefore it is not worth paying that kind of price for the same. This is a great detergent usually available at Sears at a great price. Why pay more than double price for other "brands" when this one does an equally good if not better job.

I haven't had any problems with this deteregent. I have an old top loading washer and dryer. However, the bag that my detergent was in was open even though the box was sealed when I got it home. I don't know if the scent of the detergent is just really weak...I'm used to using a product that rhymes with ride, but I cannot smell the detergent on my clothes...I'm using 1 full scoop. I don't know if it's my water or the fact that the bag was opened or if I'm not using enough. I have only washed sheets and towels so far, both in hot water, so I haven't been able to tell how it would perform on colors washed in cold. Does anyone else have a problem with no scent??? I am going to purchase some fabric softener, as it has been posted by previous reviewers for stiffness...well, Im going to use it for smell. I'm still going to buy the stuff that rhymes with ride when it's on sale but will use this intermittently with fabric softener. But for the price, it's not bad...just wish it...

I enjoy using this product because of the value I receive with this product, it does not use alot of this product to wash a large load of clothes. I haven't had to buy more laundry detergent as frequently as I did before. Yet, as any other consumers I was reluctant to buy it because I was used to using name brands, but this product has proven to be just as good if not better when it comes to washing my clothes leaving my clothes smelling fresh and soft to the touch.

We have been buying this product for several years. It cleans our clothes just fine. If you watch you can buy this product on sale and get an even better deal. The boxes seem to last forever. You really only need to use a small amouunt in most washers to get your clothes clean. Do not overpay for laundry detergent and use this product....

I bought this powder from Sears by seeing its low price. But I found that its simply wastage of money. It does not dissolve easily in water. It will ruin your washer. DO NOT BUY IT.

I recently purchased a box of Ultra Plus Laundry Detergent and am very pleased with its results on my laundry. I have a high efficiency washing machine and the Ultra Plus works very well. The clothes come out clean and just as important--soft, not stiff like some detergents leave it. I highly recommend someone to try a box to see its results on their laundry....

I bought this detergent in July and am just now to the bottom of the box. I bought it on sale for 11.99 (every 6-8 weeks it goes on that sale usually) and am waiting patiently for the sale to return. I have 5 adults and one baby in my family and I cant say enough about this detergent. I DO NOT have a HE machine either but I heard online that it worked fine so I gave it a shot. Boy am I glad I did! I use two level scoops per load, and we tend to stuff our machine too (teenage boys) and it works perfectly. There is a very mild pleasant smell, its pleasing enough for our family. I've since started my entire family on this too. In today's economy for my family to stretch 11.99 on our detergent for 4 months is amazing and I highly recommend this!!

As long as Sears makes this detergent, I will continue using it. My clothes are really clean and smell fresh. What it says on the box about the dirt not re-settling on the clothing during washing it absolutely true. It is suited perfectly for my HE washer and I never have to worry about over-sudsing. We bought a large box last spring and are still using it. We have two stored and will buy more whenever we find it on sale. This is the best detergent I've ever used....

We've been using this product since we purchased our GE HE W/D from Sear's about 4 years ago. I was skeptical at first because it was a powder and I'd been told that could clog up your drain lines, however the sales representative assured me this would not be a problem. He had been using the product himself.

Now there is a giant hole in my yard where we had to dig up our drain line and buy a snake, then rent one with a cutter after our septic backed up due to a giant clog of this soap that looked like wet cement. What a mess! We couldn't use our kitchen or w/d for three days and had to take time off work to fix this. My advice~DO NOT USE POWDER ANYTHING REGARDLESS OF PRODUCT GUARANTEES!! SPEND THE EXTRA $$ FOR LIQUID AND GET CLEANER CLOTHES TOO. This stuff does not dissolve like it promises and is NOT SEPTIC SAFE.
