University of Nevada-Reno —
Nevada-Reno is Nevada's oldest Land-grant school and is the best in the state. Yes, our cousins to the south at UNLV may disagree with us, but here's some reasons to like UNR:
1) We have trees! Lots of them! Last time I checked, UNLV was lots o' concrete and little else.
2) Lake Tahoe. Need I say more?
3) We have seasons. Four of them. Vegas? 3: Hot, cold and construction.
4) The Fremont Cannon? It's blue - has been for a while and will stay that way...
5) It doesn't take us an hour to drive to campus (unless you live in Dayton like me :-)
6) We can walk across campus in 20 minutes or less.
