“Venturer Portable DVD player”

I bought this for a developmentally disabled adult. This will be his third DVD player. Hands down this the best one yet. The main reason is that the battery is enclosed in the dvd player and not hanging off the back like other models. It charges up by simply pluging in the plug. “cheap cheap”

Although this dvd player looks like the screen is a normal size. There is no way it is a 7" screen, it is super tiny, the dvd player feels like it is poorly made. No option for a replacement aggreement like on other products. I plan on returning this sucker and getting a different one.

the dvd player works well enough, but the plug in unit only works if it is turned a certain way--it may have a short in it, we are planning on making an exchange of this unit hoping the next one will work properly all the time!!

“Just what I wanted”

This is perfect for my use, instead of having the tv on I use this to catch up on the movies I own and have headset so as not to disturb my hubby ( I watch at night in bed) EASY to operate , the screen is small but it is only 7in . I like that I can charge the batteries not have to keep changing them. This product is what I expected.

“for what it's worth”

I am using this DVD player as a study tool. Study-along DVDs are part of the sylibis. For this use the screen and the controls are more than adequate. Don't get me wrong this machine is fine for my use. I have not tried to watch a movie using it and have noticed that type - as in chapter section titles - is difficult to read unless you look at it just right. Also, without headphones or a very quite surrounding the inbeded speaker isn't very loud. In a noisy surrounding it is very hard to hear. All-in-all this devise works and serves my basic needs.

“poor product”

bought this for our kids, followed instuctions and charged for four hours prior to use.......turned on but no screen display or sound. what a waste of electricity and gas to make a second trip to return. would rate it 0 stars but wasn't a option.
