Got this nearly a year ago. Like it very much. No problems at all.
Sears had by far the lowest price on this TV when we purchased it. We ordered it via the site to store option. Within a hour of placing our order we received an email letting us know that the TV was available for pickup. When we arrived at the store pickup center we were promptly helped were in and out within 20 minutes. The TV has great picture and sound. This is our second Vizio TV and we are very pleased with both purchases. This TV is the perfect size for our master bedroom. We are VERY happy with our purchase.
Bought this for the kitchen. I have two Toshibas and a Sony (in other rooms, not in the kitchen!) and this is right up with both brands on picture quality. Plug and play, too -- no hassle. Great remote control with "adult-sized" buttons and everything clearly marked. And it stand on end! Sears price was right. Ordered on line and picked up at the store without missing a beat. From online order to watching CNN -- about an hour and a half. Go for it!
Great picture, good remote, lots of inputs.
This HDTV makes a great computer monitor, but buy it somewhere else. Sears will make every excuse in the world not to honor their 30 day price match guarantee.
I was skeptical about jumping into the LCD market... my old TV's were "Just fine" so why bother? Then I started thinking about it, and looked around online and found the same exact TV at a larger "box" store. But it was $80 more than what Sears was offering it for online. Plus no payments, no interest for 1 year AND they'd refund the difference if the price dropped within 30 days? Hardly a risk....With a 3 year, in home warranty it ended up costing about the same if I'd gone elsewhere for the exact same TV and only a 2 year warranty. I went into the store just to check it out and they...
read full review »First i gotta say that the picture quality is up there with the top name brand t/v's. The sound, after some tweeking of the EQ settings, sounds like a 4 out of 5. Its not mind blowing but it definitely gets the job done. You wont be disappointed. The issues i have been reading and researching about with ghosting seem to be that the right hookups arent being used. If you plan on gaming with this tv you will need a version 1.3 or later, catigory 2 hdmi cable. I play racing games and i see zero ghosting. Just and fyi, the response time on this tv is 6ms. The human eye cant see anything...
read full review »I just purchased this television Nov. 21 and so far so good. I attached the included base with the one provided screw, you only need your fingers and maybe a dime or penny to tighten it. Out of the box the TV was too bright (backlight and torch *hot* mode) with low detail in the dark (shadow) areas. I tried to adjust it and was surprised at how many adjustment options there were. My main Tv is a 50 " SOny with many picture options and on the Vizio with the 'almost' unforgivable problem of the menu being in the way while you make image adjustments, I was impressed. I was able to change TV...
read full review »I work retail. I work in a big box retail enviroment. I have asked every sales person I know what TV to get for a PS3 for my office (what I call my man cave). Hands down to my suprise it wasn't Sony, Samsung, or the usual players... Skeptical of the brand name I made the purchase (and yes I can afford the higher ticketed 32 inch TVs) .... and three letters say it all OMG! I am so astounded that I had to write this! Now about the place I purchased it. Yes a few of the pro's I consulted were infact Sears emplyees, but I tell you price, service (evan though the final selling associate...
