Vornado Zippi Personal Mini Fan —
I have been totally satisfied with my Vornado Zippi Personal Fan. I needed something to cool me when everyone wanted the heater running, but needed the price to be affordable for me.
I saw this fan at the Sears.com site and thought it was cute, with a design that was unique. But I was so pleasantly surprised upon receipt of the fan to find that not only was it cute but the unique design made it the safest fan I had ever used. The soft fabric blades are very quiet while powerfully dispersing the air around me. I want one for every room in the house, for the office, the garage, or RV/boat and how great it would be for college students.
I chose the fun lime green fan; it is also available in orange, yellow and jet black. The blades are what do it for me; I no longer have to worry about a child sticking their hand in the fan. I no longer worry about the pets getting hurt by a fan, these soft fabric blades don't hurt at all. You can put your hand in the blades path; it is less painful than a rubber band pop.
These fans are light, but so functional. I use mine on my bedside table, which is where I use my laptop. It is so quiet that it does not interfere with any work I am doing on my computer, watching TV or a movie, reading or even talking on the phone. The fan adjust to any angle, it has 2 speeds, the high speed is a little bit louder than the low speed but still quiet. The base has rubber rings to protect the surface it is sitting on, though the base can be hung on a hook too.
I am really pleased with this fan. It has so much subtle power, great style, is affordable and safe all around.
