“Tech went out of his way to get washer fixed TODAY!!!”

My Kenmore Elite front loading washer broke down Wednesday morning.  According to the error code, it was a problem with the motor and the grinding noise I heard as it suddenly stopped spinning told me it was BAD!

I started with this service contract last year to replace a blown out heating element on my dryer. In the past year I have had over 10 service calls (remember each time schedule a call the first one will to be to order part the next to install them. “Dont be in a hurry to get your dryer repaired by Sears!!!!”

I have waited three weeks for Sears to fix my Maytag dryer...first time they showed up they had to order parts...waited a week for the parts to show up...when another tech showed up to fix it...wrong parts, misdiagnosed!!!! had to order other parts....waited another week...cant get a tech scheduled for yet another week....wow!!!!  three missed work days, could have bought a new dryer....NO HELP FROM CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!

I wont be recommending Sears for repair services this is the second time Sears has cost me a lot of money and time!!!!! The other time i was sold a 3 year contract to fix my...

“Creative technician”

We called Sears because the pedestal panels on our front-loaders wouldn't stay attached. The tech told us that he normally doesn't work on pedestals because they are an accessory. Not wanting to disappoint us, the tech figured out that the clamps holding the panels in place were the same as the clamps in the washer/dryer doors. He was able to quickly swap out the clamps for new ones he had in his truck. My husband and I were so happy he found a way to solve our problem without sending us back to the installation company.
