110 is just the manufacturer designation, meaning Whirlpool. However, it's most likely between 6.5 and 7.0 cubic feet. The 80 series dryer is either 7.0 or 7.5 cubic feet.

I purchased an 80 series dryer in 2000.  It was the top of the line for conventional Kenmores then with a capacity of 7.5 cubic feet and has continued to be so to the current 800 series models.  I believe from the model number you gave that the dryer was around a 2005 model. The 70 series dryer should be 7.5 cu. ft. if it has the lint screen in the front by the door.  If the lint screen is in the top of the dryer, the capacity is 7.0 cu. ft. on that model.

How do you find the capacity size for your dryer?  I measured mine the old fashined way, (Height)(3.14)(radias)(squared) and came up with 5.5 cubic ft.  When I called sears they said it was "7 cubic ft"

Why isnt this basic spec listed in the owners manual? or somewhere on line.

What is the relationship to the dryer capacity size to the capacity size of the washer?

If your dryer has a flat back (no bulge), it's 5.9 cubic feet. The capacity isn't listed because a generic manual is used to cover all similar dryers. With conventional top-load machines, you generally want about twice the volume of the washer in the dryer. For machines with higher spin speeds and lower water usage, smaller dryers can be used, but the larger the dryer is, the easier and gentler the dryer will be on your clothes, and the clothes will dry more thoroughly faster.
