LockedIs there a new Maytag Bravos coming out?

Our washer died, and I am looking to get a new one.   The wife isn't terribly excited about the front loading ones, and we looked at the Maytag Bravos 69402 unit.  Apparantly this model isn't available until 10/17 and there are 0 reviews for it on the website.  Is it a new model?  Should I expect it to be pretty decent?

There are several Maytag Bravos washers available. They're comparable to the Whirlpool Cabrio and Kenmore Oasis as far as performance and reliability (be sure to disregard reviews for machines 2 years old or more, as they had issues that have since been resolved). They're great machines, all of them. The Maytags do have lower price points, though, which makes them especially attractive.

We have sold many of the 69402 MVWB300 Bravos already. They have been very popular, and are taking a bit long to get delivered. It's a good no-frills HE top load washer. The 69712 MVWB750 is the PowerWash model--can't go wrong there! It's available in Cranberry Red!

With the price point during the 20% off WP/KA/MT event, it's not hard to guess why! Easily the best bang for the buck last week.

Try Homedepot. I was in the same situation last week; and due to the Oct. 17th delivery date from Sears, I went to HD and bought the MVWB850. Also a newer model.

They have it in stock and it was delivered the next day. The washer was 10% off, and Maytag has a rebate program with HD. If you buy more than 1 Maytag on the same receipt, you get $100 back from Maytag. I also bought the 850 dryer with it. The rebate program runs till end of this month.

Wife and I are happy with both washer and dryer (no sleepless nights about all the noise around front loaders). Don't forget 17th is next week, if you still want to buy from Sears, but I think Sears is 750 as opposed to HD that has both 750 and 850.
