LockedPedestals for top loaders?

Can you put pedestals underneath top load washers and dryers?  I've seen pictures on Sears.com and I'm pretty sure I saw the same thing in the Sears store but I'm not sure.  If so can you use the drawer pedestals or just the ones that have no drawer and just raise the units up higher?

You must be VERY tall!  yes? I am only 5" 10'', but there is no way I could function with a 14 inch pedestal under a top loader!

Nobody makes pedestals for top loaders. So, no, you can't. I'm with Bob...why would you want to?

You may have remembered seeing the old Maytag Neptunes with curvy control panels that LOOKED like top loaders, but they were front-loaders. they sat on an 8" riser that was one solid piece to which both the washer and dryer were bolted. That was back in 2006 at the latest.

Conventional top-load washers are far too easy to cause to walk, and if such a thing happened while on a pedestal, it could quite easily tip over, causing damage to the machine and property, as well as potentially causing injuries or death.

And, to reiterate, of what good would it be to do it? You'd never be able to get your laundry out of the washer!

hahaha...that's funny. It would probably work for someone who's 7 or 8 feet tall. I couldn't imagine why someone with a top loader would want it on a pedestal

You may want to consider purchasing patio stones (the 10"x16" kind) and using those underneath the washer.
