Lockedcaring for our senior citizens

we should take better care of our seniors they are faithful to sears as a company; but we dont give them the respect they deserve. i do realize this is nothing new for some folks ,but to watch them come into our store on canes, wheelchairs, hurting backs and swollen feet to get their needs is very painful to watch from day to day. and the worse is that they have to walk a country mile, wait  in ungodly long lines just to check out .we to will be in there shoes one day if thats  the case i guess ill lose abit of independence a drag my family a long every where i go. that something to look foward to sincerly sadden in st louis. the least sears could do is have a register open for our elderly wih maybe a few chair around now that wouldnt break the bank would it

How many other tired shopper would quickly TAKE those chairs?

Who would regulate who would get to sit in them?

The biggest challenge is to keep ALL the lines moving, for everyone.

the walmart in my area has benches both inside the stores and outside, about 6-7 inside that are normal sized bus benches and everyoen seems to get along fine when its not a holiday

sure it wont solve the problem of people being old and getting tired easily, but it is still a good suggestion

So what's wrong with tired shoppers having a place to rest for a few minutes? I agree that there should be some places to sit in the stores. Obviously, you've never had to live with severe arthritis or backpain! Have some compassion!
