The 22-1/2" One-Touch Silver Kettle Charcoal Grill is great we love Weber grills. The only problem I have with it is the handle, It should have one on both sides not just one to pull it on it wheels. Our first weber had 2 handles and it's much more convenient. Also it needs to be deeper or the lid taller...

Most Helpful Critical Review

Overrated

Everyone loves the Weber.  It's built from sturdier materials than the other options, has a nice look, and generally good design.  But it's overrated.

The design "wins" are pretty clear. The large, deep bowl blocks the wind and makes it really easy to light the coals. Use some shredded paper and...

Weber is great for all season grilling

grilling is part of our life our Weber is also part of our life, we really enjoy outdoor life with our Weber grilling is easy, in our budget, and healthy way of cooking.

Controlling the temperature on the Weber is also easy setting the vents properly is the key vents on the grill cover and on the kettle underneath.

I consider myself to be a nature lover. I enjoy the back-woods and the crackle of a campfire cooking roasted hot dogs. When I owned a gas grill I lost that back-woods cooking sensation and open campfire flavor, so I returned to the basics and bought another Weber charcoal grill.

Having used both gas and charcoal, I prefer the Weber Kettle charcoal simplicity and letting the grease drip into the hot coals and burn away. My gas grill was always a mess with grease and grime splatter all over the burner components, while bugs and eight legged critter's always called the dark, off-limits recesses home....

carcoal grill is perfect

in my own opinion i never liked a gas grill. when i used a gas grill the food never tasted as good. so the only thing that i could do is go back to a charcoal grill. i made the right decision going back. the food tastes so much better.

in my own opinion nothing is better then on a nice summer day taking you time and cooking food. my favorite food to cook on a charcoal grill is pork ribs. if you want to make your ribs taste perfect you have to cook them for many hours and never boil them first. in my own opinion boiling them first takes out flavor.

I entertain a lot so most my grilling is done on my larger charcoal grill with smoker box attachment, but when I'm cooking for less than 4 this is my go to grill. I grill a ton, so I have been through maybe 3 of these in the last 8 years or so, but a lot of that has to do with the fact that I move the grill around all the time and sometimes subject it to inclement weather.

Heat control is as good as you could expect from a kettle grill and smoking in it is a breeze. I've done everything from pork shoulder to NY Strip to stuffed jalepeno poppers on this grill. My only complaint would be the lack...

We love our new weber 22 1/2" grill. Our last weber was smaller and finally died (rust and the wheel fell off). This one is larger and can fit 25 pieces of chicken thighs. (Enough feed at a dozen hungry people). The grilled vegies were really tasty from the smoke. We just grilled them on a piece of foil with the edges curled up. We are looking forward to smoking our Thanksgiving turkey with kiawe wood and charcoal, as there's more room than our old weber.

sometimes simpler is better. This is a basic grill, but it does a great job for basic grilling. Easy to move and clean. The benchmark for other grills. Plus, there's no shortage of add-ons for this...a classic that will always be designed for and catered to year in and year out.

weber charcoal grill

Charcoal grills in my opinion are ten times better than propane grills. My food taste better every single time I use my charcoal gril.

Yeah I know that it take so much longer to cook on a charcoal grill, but it is well worth the wait. I rather take more time on my food cooking it because I feel more pride and confidend it my food.

Another reason why I love a charcoal grill better is because what more do you want after work then to go home and relax. Everytime I cook on my grill I know it gives me enough time to relax.

great backyard grill

grill has been simply awesome. put it together in about 10 minutes, seems very sturdy as well. my only wish is that it was about 6 inches taller, other than that it's been great.
