I had a larger weed trimmer before I bought this one, but the vibrations and weight made it hard to use. This weedeater is lightweight and easy to use. It is powerful enough to use on tall weeds, although if you have a large yard, you probably want a trimmer with a wider cutting path.

I am glad I got this trimmer. It is easy to open up to replace the line and well worth the money I paid for it.

This is a lot of trimmer for the money.  I wish I had bought it instead of a gas-powered Homelite model I purchased from another store a few years ago.  The Homelite is very hard to start but this Weedeater all you do is plug it in and go! The only negative is putting up with the 100' cord I use but I would rather have a cord than a sore right arm. It is more powerful than the gas one too.  Trims anything with ease and its much easier to advance/change the line.  Amazing at such a low price.

I bought this to replace a Black & Decker cordless trimmer that wouldn't hold a charge anymore.  I read tons of reviews and visited several stores trying to decide on a trimmer but just couldn't feel comfortable with any of the choices.   I really didn't want to deal with gas and the troubles of starting one.  After stumbling on the reviews for this trimmer and seeing how many positive reviews there were I remembered that I owned an earlier model of this trimmer many years ago.  I had given it away when I went overseas in the military.  I l not only like the simplicity of this trimmmer but...

I found this electric trimmer to be very easy to use.  This was my first time ever using a weedeater and this was a perfect choice.

This is light and powerful, for $25 it gets the job done with ease, totally worth the money!

This thing is great... and inexpensive! I had a serious weed problem... dude... SERIOUS! This trimmer cut it like a pro! My neighbor told me to get a gas powered unit because they are more powerful then an electric unit... but this thing has more then enough power and is super lightweight. ********************* this was a great unit, but it had a tendancy to over heat under heavy load. I bought the Sears protection plan for an additional $2 or $3 and that worked out too. I never get those, but this one was inexpensive. I put it under a heavy load and didn't have any trouble with it. I did drop...

Used this trimmer for several years. It is light weight and powerful. Replacing the line is simple.

Gets me out of the yard fast. I believe its the best string trimmer you can buy.

Outstanding * * * * *

I bought this machine to help with a heavy weed and grass problem. In all honestly, I didn't think it would do the job, but thought it was worth a shot because of the price.

I beat the tar out of this thing for an hour the first day and 2 hours straight the next. Never missed a beat. The only issue I had was the line useage that first day, as I used up the factory .065" line.

I had some .080" line and filled the spool with that and it was a night and day difference. Simply trim down the end of the line that sticks in the base of the spool and wind it up as normal. Highly reccommended.

Great Buy...

I didn't think I would write a review on this item because every other review on this item says it all. Great buy, unless you don't have outlets outside your house, but then again they do make pretty long extension cords. I can't even imagine any other reason to have a gas weed eater. This thing has plenty of power, fairly light and comfortable and very easy to control. I do think they could have made a guide for edging the lawn like most others are equipped with, I made a couple oops while trying to make the edges look professional. Don't spend the extra money, take some one out to dinner with... read full review »

Great lawn trimmer!

First of all, you CAN'T beat the price. This trimmer is quite powerful and easy to use, and very light weight. The fact that it's corded doesn't really affect how it maneuvers. The only not so great thing I can say about this trimmer is that it goes through line pretty quickly, but even that is getting kind of picky. Very happy overall :)

I wanted to get rid ofmy gas powered heavy gauge unit. got this 11 inch weedeater and no more messing with gas engine.

This unit has excellent line fedd. tap tap =full line

easy to wind and replace

sear blue 0.060 seems heavier gauge than factory load? great

Trims perfect

edging take a little more time and string. But no gas and gas and oil and starting hassle or a little slower and a feww feet of string... string wins for me.

I have small lawn modest edging and lots of outlets and heavy duty extension cords, so Operation and wind up is so easy.

if you have bigger yard and...

I LOVE IT!

This product is so easy to use and light weight. Great value for price. Assembly is super easy and the instructions are simple to follow. Dislike: I wish the handle was more adjustable. I think if you could adjust the angle of the handle it would make it more comfortable to use. Regardless, best trimmer I've used.

Great buy even at twice the price

I am very happy with this trimmer. I bought it with a little hesitation because it was so inexpensive, but it has turned out to be a great buy. I trimmed around the edge of a 80'x60' yard, surrounded by chain link, and against the house, and only had to advance the line twice. It delivers good power and a firm feel. . . it's plenty long enough for me to use comfortably (I'm 6 ft) and my only complaint is the narrow cutting swath (11 inches) but overall I'm very happy with it.

Great Gift Idea

I bought this for Father's Day for my husband. He had an old one that was large and bulky. He is very happy with the Weedwacker. He said it was very easy to put together, easy to use and lightweight. It is a good value and makes a great gift.
