Sears sold welding equipment can be found in the Tool Catalog or on-line.

As a general rule - Sears full-line stores do not carry welding equipment or supplies.

The only exception is the occasional return of a welder to a full-line store.

I've offered to sell any equipment and supplies the store chooses to carry, having worked with the Welders and Allied Trades, as a Machinist in the Army, with my Manufacturing degree from Cal Poly University and my 6 months of Welding Technology training.

The welding product that I want to see is a welding helmet that has an LCD display for the operator instead of a view through a filter. It would have a small camera on the outside of the helmet that would show the view of the work on the display. With current helmets, I worry about where to set the filter density. If I turn it down enough to see well, I fear damaging my eyes. With an LCD display helmet you'd only worry about damaging the camera.

That would be a cool helmet.

Oh! Good idea.

Forced air cooling...

And, the digital camera could have a zoom function for keeping track of the weld puddle.
