I had wachovia for my mortgage, but now that I'm with wells fargo I am very happy. They actually answer the phones and send out information promptly. The only thing I don't like about them is that they send out sometimes too much information, lots of insurance information, and other stuff. I think that...

We chose Wells Fargo because we thought we were staying "in the family."  In all honesty, my brokerage accounts were originally with A G Andersdon - subsequently bought out by Wells Fargo.  I love my broker and transfered that satisfaction to Wells Fargo - mistake!  My local lender in Memphis has...

I was a first time home buyer and had the best possible experience with Wells Fargo Mortgage Lending here in Ga. My lender was informative, patient and all around fantastic.I've heard many horror stories when it comes to purchasing a home however my lender did the worrying for me and we had a smooth closing(and yes, it was on time).

No surprises at the closing table :)

About five years ago and out of nowhere Wells Fargo sent me in the mail all the papers I needed to accept a new home loan at a fixed rate of 4.875% for 15 years.  All I had to do was get about five pages notarized and submit the papers back to them.  It was a refinance of an existing mortgage balance we had with a local bank. This loan saves me about $250 a month over our old loan which was only 7%.  I set up a bank draft, and this amount is deducted monthly with no effort whatsoever on my part.  I have never had any problem with Wells Fargo and would use them again for a home mortgage.

Seven years ago we enjoyed working with our loan officer at Wells Fargo and have used him two more times since then.  They are by the book and very efficient. Every i dotted and t crossed. Never any problem. Our questions were always answered with honesty and professionalism. Great rates with outstanding customer service at Wells Fargo!

Great Service

I have dealt with Wells Fargo for the past 8 years and find them to be a great Company. I had one bad experience and when I notified the branch manager, it was quickly resolved.

My husband and I made the jump to homeowning with the help of Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. They worked with us on closing costs and points. In the end they helped make our dream of owning a home reality. Afterwards the good treatment continued with polite service. Clear billing statements. When we refinanced with another company we regretted our move. The new company didn't care about us at all we were just a faceless payment. Well Fargo Home Mortgage set the standard high. We will be using them in the future.

Wells Fargo is the worst home mortgage lender that I have ever dealt with in regards to the amounts and types of insurances required when they take over a mortgage.

All my life I have spent what personal time I could working with tools. There are virtually no tools I don't know how to use.  I do freely admit, however, that I am far from great with some of the more complex items.  Sears unquestionally make some of the finest hand tools available, and their lifetime warranty shows they know it.  Their power tools are OK for the home fixit guy and the nonaggressive hobbyist.  They do not appear to be made for heavy, continuous use, but are good for intermittent needs.

As a senior executive, I always enjoyed an opportunity to spend time in the trenches with...
