“stay away from this bike”

Weslo Pursuit 350 Exercise Bike — 

got this bike home and one of the wires where cut, so I used a wire nut to get it together, no big deal. So got the bike put together and after 1 day of riding it for about 40 minutes the pedal comes off and I thought that was weird, so I look and the inside of the crank where the pedal screws in is completely stripped out, now the pedal will only stay in for about 3 minutes at a time, looks like I'm gonna have to weld it on.
