It works smoothly and very quietly. The display is very visible, easy to use, and seems to be pretty accurate. My favorite part though, is that it has 2 pre-programmed 30 minute "courses" to ride that simulate going up and down hills by telling you to speed up or slow your pace. We have 2 hyperdestructive kids that have pounced on it repeatedly already, and it seems durable too. I would recommend this to anyone like me who just wants some regular exercise and is on a budget :)...
