“Stir Crazy Popper is FUN!”

Stir Crazy has to be one of the best popcorn poppers ever!  I love to use the popper to make fresh and tasty popcorn!  The kids love to watch it!  And it is perfect for making popcorn for caramel corn or marshmellow covered popcorn because it does not have all the stuff on it that microwave has.  With the Stir Crazy you can make a lot or a little and you can have butter, flavorings or none.  Tastes great with buttery popcorn oil! Only downside is it gets hot so keep kids back when popper is ready to flip into the domed top a.k.a. serving bowl.

“Stir Crazy is the best popcorn popper”

I thought this popcorn popper looked cool. But it realy works well. I love how much popcorn it can make at one time. What a time saver!!!

“Premium Popper”

I dropped my first Stir Crazy (after 15 years of great service) while drying it and had to replace it last month. Today's version has some improvements in design but is overall the same terrific popper. The nonstick surface is now more durable and likely to avoid scratches a lot longer than the older models. The brand also changed the shape of the stirring rod to reduce friction between it and the nonstick coating. Even when we use the regular store brand of popcorn, we get few unpopped kernels. “horrible and dangerous”

this is not fun aND ITS DEFF NOT SAFE...THEY TELL YOU TO FLIP THE WHOLE THING INTO THE COVER/BOWL WHAT THEY DONT TELL YOU IS HOT BOILING OIL CAN LEAK OUT AND BURN YOU PRETTY BAD

“Best tasting popcorn, durable popper”

We got the stir crazy popper ten years ago as a wedding gift, and we use it ALL the time. I dropped it last week and chipped off some plastic, so I had to buy a new one, because no other popper compares to it. Microwave popcorn tastes stale and artificial compared to it. And no other popper makes 6 quarts like this one. The last one lasted ten years, you can't ask for much more than that!

“Absolutely Great Corn Popper”

My wife and I have used a stir crazy for more than 20 years. We have worn out at least two of them making popcorn. We have given away at least a half-dozen for housewarming gifts, wedding showers and weddings. This device flawlessly pops a cup of kernels into 6 quarts of popcorn with narry a unpopped kernel. The secret is a stirring rod that constantly rotates at the bottom, causing the un-popped kernels to fall out of the popped popcorn and then to be moved across the hot surface so they pop faster. “Love, love, love family movie/popcorn night!”

I love my stir crazy popcorn maker! We use it three to four times per week and always prefer fresh, family popped corn over microwave popped. I read one reviewer who said that hot oiil can spill out and its dangerous. I can't imagine putting enough oil in the machine that it would spill over. We buy the butter flavored popcorn oil. Trust me, we use plenty of it, but have never had it spill out. The oil coats the popcorn as it cooks and there is nothing left over to spill out by the time the kernels are popped and its time to flip the bowl over.
