“Cooktop light short circuit”

I saw another review with this same problem. Our unit is only 1 year old. We had to replace the light 3 times and the 3rd time was NOT a charm. That's when it went pop with a flash. “Microwave”

My micro, purchased with my new home a year ago, the fan and the ability to heat went out. Called for repair, it would cost more to replace the fan with labor itself than to go out and buy another unit. It was very disappointing to see the unit go out in a years time with very minimal use. FYI - my Whirlpool washer also 1 yr old went out 1 week ago - had repaired - very disappointed in Whirlpool!

“Love this Microwave Oven!!”

This microwave oven is excellent and was very reasonable in price. I never was very good at defrosting food with microwaves before, but the auto-defrost works like a charm. Now I just punch in the weight of the meat and it does the rest. The three speed fan and light are very nice too. I've only had it for 4 months, but so far, it's exceeded all my expectations.

“Very nice microwave oven”

I have had my Whirlpool microwave for almost a year. So far, I have not experienced any of the problems others have noted regarding magnatron not working or light burning out. For the price I paid, this is a good value. (Paid about $225 for it on sale).

“wonderful whirlpool”

this is an excellent micro. it is big enough to warm up dinner for 5. it is very easy to use right out of the box. I would highly recommend this microwave, and the price makes it that much better.
