Great Microwave. Have had it now for a few months and it has performed excellent. Installed by my dad and I, we had no issues except it being fairly heavy for one person to lift and install. Great features like the sensor reheat, multi speed fan( very quiet on lower levels), and auto cook. So far no issues and still working strong. Very well constructed unit.
We recently bought and installed this model Microhood. It is all it was advertised to be. Very nice. Easy to operate and easy to install, except for being heavy. Very solid appliance. Fan is especially quiet on the lower setting.
We built a new house March 2004. The first unit started sparking and smoking within 30 days. Found out it had a metal label inside the door that was heating up and melting the plastic unit housing. The heat put a hole in the plastic. Whirlpool wanted the service man to replace the label and put a white filler patch in the hole. We said NO Way so they did replace the unit. Now, the new unit popped a light bulb and the whole unit went dead. The same service man said a 'ceramic fuse' blew and the price to fix is $120.00. 2 service calls plus getting the parts shipped. ...read full review »
