“nice design poor quality of shelveing”

love the desgn of the shelves but the large drawer under the top shelf is very poor quality. If not careful you would easily shatter the drawer when it twist as you try to slide it back in. crisper drawers very cheap made also, even my ge side by side had much better made drawers and I hated that fridge... read full review »

“Great Fridge”

We bought this fridge about 6 months ago & love it. It's spacious enough to fit everything we need & the water dispenser is wonderful. I'd highly recommend. The only downfall I found is that our Sears does not carry the filter replacements, so we have to order them online.

“Bad Fan Motor”

Just one month out of warranty this refrigerator stopped being cold. Lost all my food, and had to pay Sears $230. to fix faulty fan motor. Not what you would expect from a Whirlpool product/Kenmore name.

“Whirlpool Gold 21 cu ftRefrigerator”

the contoured features of this refrigerator clearly sets it apart from its more boxy counterparts. Very roomy inside, and clear storage bins help find items quickly. The hidden handle pulls within the doors deletes the need for exterior handles, allowing an even sleeker appearance. Crisper controls eliminates the iced up vegetable problem. Additional feature of a filtered water dispenser inside the refrigerator saves tons of money in bottled water purchases!

“Excellent Fridge”

I was debating between differnt models of side-by-sides because I really wanted the water and ice maker. Well Come to find out this fridge has both, and costs about 700 dollars less. It's a great looking, great preforming fridge.

“Excellent top-freezer unit, but...”

We have had one of these for several years and it replaced a similar Kenmore built by Whirlpool that lasted 20 years. Given the limitations of a top-freezer unit, this Whirlpool is excellent with the following exceptions. The textured plastic handle soils easilly and is a little time-consuming to clean. Smooth would be better. The feezer is very spacious, but that means the refrigerator is a little smaller than it might be and that means stooping for even top shelf items.
