whirlpool Quiet Partner II

I read the two reviews on this machine and had to chuckle at the mechanical ability of one and the flat absurd comments about the power cord. The wheels on the back of the machine pop out and fit into a slot to make the machine height adjustable front and rear. The rear adjustment is only about an inch... read full review »

There must be something better out there

We have not have our new dishwasher for a week and I already wished I could exchange it for a better one but I don't want to pay again for the installation. We thought Whirlpool would be a better brand and that's why we bought it from the the list suggested by the repairman. I wish we had seen it before... read full review »

Dishwasher

We purchased this dishwasher to replace our old dishwasher that was 12 years old. I can't say that this dishwasher is any better than the last. It is quite noisy, and it has a small utensil basket. It cleans well enough, but it doesn't dry as well as the old dishwasher. This dishwasher was very economical, and you get what you pay for.

Great Dishwasher

I found the installation of this dishwasher to pretty straight forward. The wheels are nice, being helpful even when they're in the full "up" position to move the unit during installation .I was amazed at how quiet this unit runs compared to my old dishwasher. Dishes come out nice and clean, but then that's what's desired and expected from a dishwasher!!! It has a lot more room in it than my old one, and I really like the "delay start" feature although I can talk on the phone without any problem even when it's running. I am quite happy with my choice.

Whirlpool dishwasher

We purchased this dishwasher 3 years 11 months ago. We have replaced the racks, they rusted. also the soap dipenser, the brain of the unit. Now the repairman told us the motor is going out. I was always a Whirlpool man until now.this dishwasher is junk.

dishwasher

This models does an excellent job cleaning. It would be nice if it had a water saver selection. Only after we had it, did we know that light wash (which we thought was a water saving cycle) was to be used for fine china and it actually uses the same or greater amount of water. We had one problem when installing. There are no adjustable legs at the back, only about 2 inch wheels built into the casing. Because of the wheels, when leveling the dishwasher, the front adjustable legs can only be adjusted to the height of the wheels in order to ensure the dishwasher is level. When doing this, we had and... read full review »

Bad Motor

I've only had my Whirlpool for 14 months and now it needs a new motor. Plus I hear it's common with this model. I definately wouldn't recommend this one. Starting out, it was great and very quiet. But right at 13 months we started noticing it run longer and getting noisier. Not a good buy.

Great dishwasher but no power cord ?

Bought the Whirlpool DU110XTPQ because it was rated a "best buy" by CONSUMERS REPORTS Sears gave me a good price and delivered it to my home. During installation I realized that it did not come with a cord and was told by Sears that "they don't come with cords" -- two other stores, not Sears, also agreed so I had to purchase the power cord. Everything was hooked up and runs great, however I would not buy another "appliance" unless it comes with a power cord already wired and ready to run.
