This washer is awesome.It washes two loads of laundry in one wash.Great for comforters and blankets.It can hold two comforters or three or four blankets.I am able to wash my area rugs in this machine.It is a bit noisy but i do not mind it because it is a great washer.

The house my brother bought as a second home and I caretake has a Whirlpool.It is fantastic. When it needs to be replaced we will probably replace it with another Whirlpool.I have been a kenmore fan for years so to state the previous is the truth.

This Whirlpool washer has met all the standards I have been looking for. I have never been so pleased with the performance of a washer. When I put my clothes in the washer with the detergent and shut the lid, I just walk away. When the load of clothes are done they are clean, with no guess work on my part, the water sensor determines how much water it will need to get the perfect wash. If you want warm, hot or cold water, a super wash or extra rinse, just push the buttons load your clothes and close the lid and you will be as happy as I am, to have purchased a wash machine like this. The Whirlpool 4.0 cu.ft. I.E.C top loader is a good washing machine. I like that you can wash pretty much anything you need to in it. I have always bought the whirlpools they are just a good brand. The only thing I don't like about it is the price.

Love it, love it, love it!!

Can't say enough about it. I didn't want to buy into the whole front loader thing. The mold issue I have heard about really bothered me, plus I felt the capacity would make me do more loads overall. I stuck to my guns and bought the top loader. It is very quite and does a great job. As compared with my old machines the clothes practically come out dry.

The whirlpool 4.0 cu. ft. super capacity washer is the greatest washer I have ever owned. The clothes are cleaner, smell better, and dry faster then any other washer I have used in the past. I would recommend it to everyone and buy it again and again for myself!

I bought a Kenmore since it has always been a dependable brand. Also, it was on sale and had features my wife liked; very versitile. It is moderately quiet, and saves on water usage with its load sensor, however, if the lid is raised to put more items in after it is turned on it negates the load sensor and fills the machine up to capacity. We have had to adjust to this. After several months we had a defective washer transmission, however Sears repair were "Johnny on the spot" and the machine was repaired at no cost to us. We particularly like the numerous washing options which meet our needs from my heavily soiled construction workware to our little grandbabies lightly soiled clothing. While the machine is rather pricey, Sears one year with no interest payments made the purchase quite reasonable and easy. This washer is a keeper!

I have had my Whirlpool Top-Load Washer for about 2 months and I love it! I have no complaints. So many times I would let my previous washer fill up with water before adding detergent and clothes and then, would forget about it until the cycle was almost over. With this washing machine, I will never have to worry about wasting water again. Detergent & clothes go in, close the lid, and walk away. My clothers are super clean and I love all the options...especially washing bulk items such as comforters. I personally don't think its that loud (i never expected it to be as quiet as my dishwasher). I highly recommend this washer.

We thought maybe we had left a shipping strap or something in place. Nope - this thing is just noisy. The agitator (or roller as it is called) is clunky soundy. It is a relief when it finally shuts up. Others had said it was quiet and it has a noise reduction feature. I am not experiencing anything that makes me think either of these are true...

We haven't had a new washer and dryer in a long time. The red matching dryer for this Whirlpool 4.0 top-loading washer is, in comparison, whisper quiet. I am hoping that I just get used to it, but as for first impressions (just got it last night), I am not impressed. My husband thought he was funny when he said "take-off in 4-3-2-1...". Ha Ha :-(

We are hoping to get used to the auto-sensor water filling feature. We are impressed with all the options and features.
